GSatTrack is a website which means it requires an internet connection. Airplane mode disables data connections (turns off wifi), so while in flight and you wish to access your GSatTrack account, you can connect via the Airplane Wifi to obtain data.

The Iridium GO uses SMS for location transmissions.

The process is first calling /api/token which will authenticate and generate an authorization token, and then get /api/clients which will return a GUID.

You will find instructions for SBD Relaying under the Features list from the GSatTrack WiKi. Go to GSatTrack.com and click on the "Support" tab, then click on "WiKi". See the navigation panel to the left and click on "SBD Relaying" at the bottom of the Features list.

There is a certain level of engineering support required by our partners, along with a certain level of support staff in order to qualify as a direct partner with GSE and in order to qualify for partnership discounts. The application is short and you will receive results within the next few days or sooner.

The greyed out functions you mention associated with that geofence will only be enabled if there is an asset currently located within that geofence. For example, "Send Message" would only send a text to assets within the geofence. So if there are not any in the geofence then that function becomes disabled until an asset is inside the geofence.

To disable showing your current position you can disable location sharing in the browser settings, or disable it for the specific website. This varies by browser.

Keep in mind that even though your browser location is shown on the mapping interface of GSatTrack, the location is not shared with other users of the platform.

This feature is quite popular especially when you are trying to meet up with an asset in the field. You simply pick the asset to follow and can easily see what direction to go, since the device you are holding will temporarily show it's location without actually being an asset in the portal.

Transmission of encrypted data over the networks is terminal dependent. GSatTrack supports all terminals that support encryption. Additionally, we allow for end-to-end email encryption. Note also that users connect to GSatTrack via the web browser, which is secured via HTTPS.

Check to see if you are using a power saving mode on your mobile device. If you are, you will have to white list the GSatTrack Mobile app from saving power. Additionally, some devices disable "Background network usage" when in power saving mode, so you may have ensure that "Background network usage" is enabled.
